24hr Gas | Cecilville Station
Welcome
PLEASE NOTE WE ARE CLOSED FOR WINTER.
We have had tons of interest since the video came out. We are closed until May, except by reservation. Do not visit without prior arrangements. There is a 6,000 foot snowy pass to get here and we do not advise random winter visits. Thanks for your interest and we look forward to seeing you in summer!
If you were inspired by what you’ve seen happening in Cecilville, we’d like to ask you to help our small community. The Cecilville Station is a vital emergency resource in our remote location for all tourists, travelers, motorcyclists, and locals alike. We do not profit off the station due to initial costs, annual county and state inspections, fees, permits, insurance, high cost of fuel delivery, and our relatively low volume, yet it is an essential piece of infrastructure. However, due to mechanical failure and regulatory requirements to update the pump with a chip reader, we currently do not have gas available for credit card swipe unless we are there to sell it. If we upgrade the pump we also have to upgrade our whole POS because our old system is not compatible with the new software for the pump. The cost to upgrade the pump and POS system is $48,000. Please help us make gas available by credit or debit card 24/7 again.
Thank you kindly,
Monk and Allegra

Cecilville is a great place to launch many outdoor adventures. Surrounded by national forests and wildernesses. It is situated on the South Fork of the Salmon River a wild and scenic River know for world famous kayaking and white water rafting. Nestled between the Russian, Trinity and Marble Mountain wilderness areas it boasts extremely diverse flora and fauna.
Originally inhabited by the native tribe called Konemihu, Cecilville was settled by miners in the late 1800's. The original town was a stage stop called Brownsville and was located on the flat which now holds the back nine of the Salmon River Disc Golf Course and the community farm. The flats and the opening up of the river canyon made this area a natural place to settle. In the mining days hay was grown here and horses and cattle we kept here.
The Bennet Resort was the original commercial venture on the property where the Salmon River Saloon now stands, opening in the 1960's, which became Snipes Villa in the late 1970's when Joe and Eileen Snipes bought the property which they operated until selling it to Jim and Leni Doyle who renamed it Doyle's Camp when they purchased it in 1997 and owned it until they passed away and Monkey and Allegra bought it in the spring of 2012.
The Salmon River Saloon, Cecilville Station and the Salmon River Disc Golf Course opened in 2014. Cecilville General Store, a kitchen and lodging are in the works.
